most all my newborn sessions are done in the home of your house! I love the idea of keeping it lowkey and meaningful to you, and what better place than the one you prepared for the little one! whether we are in the nursery, on the couch, on the front porch - let's capture this moment before it passes!


babies are figuring out the world around them, trust me i get it! each newborn session is laid-back and not rushed. need to feed or change the baby, not a problem! we can take time to pause and work with it.

bring on the bellies! my goal is to make sure we remember the art of growing a baby and what motherhood feels like in this moment. maternity sessions can be simple or they can allow space for a story to be told over a few different ideas depending on what your vision is.

FAQ

when should I book my maternity session?

I recommend we book your session date as early as 8 weeks but no later than 6 weeks before your due date! for planning purposes its best to reach out earlier than that to get on my schedule.  6-8 weeks before your due date  ensures that we aren't going to run out of time if baby decides to come earlier than anticipated, and it also allows time to receive the photos before the baby is born! the turn-around time for photos is 2 - 4 weeks.

when should I schedule my newborn session?

there is never a time to early! even if we aren't sure when baby will arrive. when you reach out to me before baby comes, we will take a look at your due date and plan 1-2 weeks after that and pencil in a date. this can be flexible if baby comes early or later, this at least allows me to get you in my books for that month. its so fun to capture the tiny details of a newborn, I recommend we book our date 4-5 days after you arrive home from the hospital to give you and baby time to adjust. if you prefer sooner than that, reach out and we can determine if we are the best fit!
